THE HUMMINGBIRDS Family Home Daycare was founded in 1999 by Mary Haas who ran the daycare alongside assistant Adela Sandino for 8 years. In 2007, Adela fulfilled a lifelong dream and purchased the business when Mary announced her retirement. The Hummingbirds provides a nurturing environment, emphasizing learning through play.
Our comfortable home setting provides children with a secure place to enjoy some of their first group play and learning experiences. I would definitely recommend the Hummingbirds. It was a wonderful first experience in daycare, both for our daughter and for us. Our daughter learned valuable social skills, both in terms of relating to her peers and listening to and trusting other adults.
