How far in advance should I order? Typically at least 2 weeks notice is needed for a custom cake. It is recommended to place a deposit as soon as possible to hold your date. If no deposit is made the date may get booked up. Verbally accepting a quote will not hold your space, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required for cakes $300 or more.
