Early morning appt. was easy. No wait time. Medical Asst. came in room with me, asked pertinent questions and Dr. came in shortly after. Referred to CT taken, discussed results, and had time to ask questions. Was quick and well organized.

So far Im feeling extremely hopeful & grateful for finding this place. Ive had TMJ for the last year & the last 6 months have been really bad.
Ive seen:
dentists
chiropractors
ENTs
acupuncturists
massage therapists
craniaosacral therapists
Ive been looking for a specialist for quite some time in Austin ( 3 hours from dallas) and theres either no one who takes insurance and costs $600+ to even have an initial meet up or they are backed up for 6+ months to even get a consult.
Driving 3 hours for treatment isnt ideal, but after reading these reviews

Finding TMJ Specialists who know what they're doing is a challenge. I was lucky to find Dr. Virk -- as with any chronic pain condition, finding the correct practitioner is the key to pain relief. I was treated with respect they made me feel very comfortable. All my questions were answered i did not feel rushed.

I do not have enough words for the Amazing experience I had with this Team, Office, Dr. etc. I have been seen in 5 offices in 9 months and I was starting to believe my expectations were out dated. Thank you Texas TMJ folks. I normally take names to complain but I was treated and welcomed in the office so well I left speechless...... I'll be back in two weeks for my follow up...and I'll be remembering names. Can't wait to refer them to friends and family....

I've seen many professionals for help with TMJ for over 10 years including primary physicians, ENT doctors, chiropractors. Since seeing Dr. Virk for last few months I have a more complete understanding of my diagnosis and a plan for relief. His office has worked with me on insurance, scheduling and re-scheduling with kindness and care. Without Dr. Virk's expertise in this area I would still be struggling to find solutions to this very painful condition.

Dr Virk and staff are very patient and caring! Dr Virk took the time to answer all of my questions. One other bonus is that they accept medical insurance! I went to another place to have my tmj assessed and they did not accept my medical insurance.
