About Our Doctors

Dr. Kapil Davar is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. He attended the University of Wisconsin where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He went on to complete his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at The Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.

Brushing & Flossing

Tooth brushing should be performed for children by a parent twice daily, using a soft toothbrush of age-appropriate size and the correct amount of fluoridated toothpaste. Only a smear amount of fluoridate toothpaste should be used for children under the age of 3; no more than a pea size amount should be used for children ages three to six.
