It is that time of year again when Dr. M and her Tooth Fairies will be walking to raise money to fight cancer. Like so many others, cancer is a very personal issue for me. Together with my community, I'm working toward the day it is eradicated.
It gives me the chance to make a difference and to honor those touched by breast cancer by raising funds for groundbreaking research, and services for people dealing not only with breast cancer, but ALL types of cancer.I believe there will come a day that the pain caused by cancer is a thing of the past.

Directions: Our office is located 828 Hempstead Turnpike, five blocks west of Franklin Avenue and one block west of the Franklin Square Post Office. Our entrance on Lincoln Road, faces the Franklin Square Public Library. We are a "stone throw" from all the elementary schools in the area, and we share access to a large 100-car parking lot.

Make the first visit something for the child to look forward to. Morning appointments are usually when the child is most rested and cooperative. Do not attempt to bribe your child. Today, dentistry for children is a fun and positively anticipated experience. You might read your child a story about a trip to the dentist.

Composite bonding is a conservative, versatile and affordable way to aesthetically restore a multitude of dental cases. Repair root abrasion, particularly on roots exposed by gum recession or notched by years of aggressive brushing. Covering these areas helps prevent cavities and root sensitivity, and improves appearance.
Dentures

Dentures for replacing a full set of teeth are called full dentures. To replace teeth in the upper jaw, these dentures include a flesh-colored acrylic base that covers the gums and the roof of the mouth, allowing an entire set of false teeth to sit firmly. Full dentures for the lower mouth are similar, but the acrylic base is shaped like a horseshoe to avoid covering the tongue.

We have recently incorporated the Dental Oral Exam (DOE) system into our oral screening standard of care. It is approved by the FDA as an adjunct to enhance visualization of oral abnormalities. We find that using this system along with a standard oral cancer examination improves the abilitiy to identify suspicious areas at their earliest stages.
