Located at Greene County-Lewis A. Jackson Regional Airport (I19), MacAir Aviation is a full-service fixed-base operator. We offer the following services to assist with your visit. The MacAir Aero Club serves all aviation enthusiasts in the Dayton area - military and civilian alike. And although our name and location have changed over the years, we have been operating since the 1940s! Here, you'll find a top-notch, FAA-approved (FAR Part 141) flight school, experienced instructors, and a well-maintained fleet of rental aircraft for our members.

Interested in learning how to fly - or increasing your current skills? The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires you meet specific criteria in order to earn a pilot's certificate. MacAir Aviation offers flight instruction to help you gain the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
As a Part 141 flight training program, we offer private, commercial, instrument, and air transport pilot certificates, as well as a certified flight instructor rating certificate, under FAA-approved syllabi.That means you'll gain knowledge and skills from highly experienced, helpful instructors - and have a lot of fun in the process.

With over 38,000 hours of combined instruction, MacAir has some of the most experienced and seasoned flight instructors in the area. The key qualification in selecting these instructors is their number of hours in light aircraft, temperament, instruction experience and techniques, and safety. Our instructors will enable you to succeed.
Aircraft Rental
Report
Current members are able to rent aircraft through the Aero Club through Flight Schedule Pro. Our aircraft rental rates are priced wet. For cross country trips, you need to put an average of 2.0 hours on the plane (2.5 hours between 5/1 and 10/1) for each day you have it (e.g., for a four day trip, the plane should have a minimum of eight hours of flight time).
