As a 501c3 non-profit organization, we strive to create an atmosphere of cooperation among businesses, private landowners, and wildlife photographers where all participants benefit while promoting the conservation and protection of wildlife and habitat.

Formed in 2000, originally as the Coastal Bend Wildlife Habitat Education Program, our mission was and continues to raise public awareness and promote wildlife and habitat conservation within Texas. We believe this is a unique project worthy of your consideration and support. The demographics of Texas are changing rapidly.
Photo Contest
Report
The Wildlife in Focus photo contest is held biennially in odd numbered years. A professional or amateur photographer (or a team of 2 photographers) is paired with a participating landowner forming a partnership. Dates for the contest are announced well in advance of the contest period. All fees must be received in full by our office prior to the beginning date of the contest for eligibility.
Kritters 4 Kids
Report
Kritters 4 Kids introduces students to new opportunities and hobbies with the hopes of inspiring excitement about preserving and protecting the wildlands of our area. Your support is integral to the success of our program. You may select the elementary schools of your choice to receive the program or we will match you with schools on our waiting list.
Giving
Report
Your name will be prominently displayed on our Traveling Photo Exhibit for two years. The exhibit travels to 21 counties in different locations including banks, libraries, art centers, office buildings, and museums. Your name and logo will be proudly displayed as a sponsor on our website seen by thousands of people.
Our Programs
Report
The Wildlife Photo Contest - Landowners partner with photographers to capture photographs of wildlife and habitat. Landowners and photographers share equally in the winnings. The resulting images provide appreciation of wildlife and its habitat, as well as public awareness of the importance of conservation.
