Tributary Brewing
We find the inspiration for Tributary beer in the landscape of Southern Maine, with its winding brooks, salt water marshes, and tidal rivers converging into the mighty Piscataqua River. Tod and Galen are passionate environmentalists and understand the critical importance of good, clean water. Water is the most vital component in the brewing process; Tributary is our metaphor for the delicate brewing process.

Tod's skill, ingenuity, and creativity, combined with our mission to preserve this way of life, results in small batches of Tod's favorite recipes for traditional, well-balanced, full-bodied beers - many of them! Tributary's home is the coastal town of Kittery, Maine. We use only the finest malt and hops in our brews for beer lovers locally and beyond.

Join us for tastes of our ever-changing offering of brews. Enjoy a flight, 4 ounce pours of the beers on tap, or 12 ounce glasses of your favorite. Our tasting room is large with a calming decor that evokes a cool pool of water. Sit at a long communal table with your friends or family, or meet your neighbors from near or far.

Our Italian Pilsner is brewed exclusively with the heritage Eraclea malt that lends a rustic backbone to support the delicate dry hopping of Slovenian Celeia, German Saphir and American Sterling. Floral and noble in aromatics, this crisp lager will invigorate and refresh your palate. Our wet hop Pale Ale has an gentle aromatic bouquet of berries and citrus influenced by locally sourced (Maine) fresh Comet and Cascade hops.
