Good Bike

Good Bike Co. opened our doors in the summer of 2014 in a former 1940's gas station located on the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail in Prineville, OR. As owner of our shop, I've been in the bike industry for over two decades working in small ma and pa shops in South Dakota and ultimately with REI's Flagship store in Seattle, WA.

Pricing Transparency Notice: As the bike industry has shifted in the pandemic marketplace factory shipping fees too have gone up. Every bike we receive costs $60 in shipping fees. We pay half of that and pass half onto the final sales price of the bike. Revenue from the bicycle excise tax goes into the Connect Oregon Fund to provide grants for bicycle and pedestrian transportation projects.

The route may be similar or have a new twist. We'll pedal through Central Oregon and the stunning Ochoco Mountains riding roughly 175 miles with over 15,000' of climbing. The trip includes routes, catered meals, sag support, and more. This year's epic event will bike pack through some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Central Oregon including Painted Hills, and Ochoco National Forest.

If we can't be out riding ourselves, then we must live vicariously - and we love to plan adventure cycling tours that explore the many tastes, sights, and sounds of the beautiful, natural world. From our shop in Prineville, Central Oregon, we help with routing and logistics, gear sales and rentals, and bike and baggage transportation support as needed.

We are located at the intersection of the Oregon Outback Trail and the TransAmerica Bicycle Trail, across the street from the historic Crook County Courthouse in downtown Prineville, OR. We're also at the jump off point for the Central Oregon Backcountry Explorer Route. Good Bike Co. LLC doesn't book online.
