Horrible Bank I have been banking with this bank ever since they took over Centrue Bank. My wife forced me to keep the accounts even though we have had negative experiences. I have had nothing but negative experiences over the last seven months they freeze my account claim fraud on a regular basis deny deposits. And you get zero answers when you call or they say it's your fault.

I miss everything about Homestar Bank as I always felt comfortable with their customer service and truly never had any problems.
With Midland here, I certainly do not appreciate, like many others, not being able to even call and get through as it's either a constant busy signal or have it ring and then get disconnected, repeatedly. Apparently this has been the case way before our uninvited covid-19 guest.
Not very professional especially with the technology we do have today. Very disappointed.

Been an AWFUL experience since switching from Homestar. My app has been hacked multiple times and they accused us of doing it, when CLEARLY it was not. As well as the app not working countless times. The drive thru workers have a hard time understanding what is supposed to be done even when they are clearly told. Going to be switching in the new year because of awful experiences.

Miss homestar!
Constantly putting fraud notices on my card. These are monthly charges that come thru my acct.
Happened so many times I lost
count. Must get new card and switch my monthly charges To my other bank. this time was on me I didn't. remember one that was listed with Walmart (2) time and a Best buy. Must agree with all other can't get thru by. phone always always busy

Lobby still closed in September with no end in site. Other businesses with more customers open. National Bank of Manteno lobby open since June. Also their cash station machine is down frequently. Preferred Homestar was a small community bank. When you call Midland Manteno your call is always routed to a call center.

Midland bought out Centrue Bank. Centrue had great services for my business and personal accounts. Midland's service has been terrible. I have repeatedly had login problems. Every time I go to view online statements I am unable to go in to my accounts. After spending hours on the phone with customer service they are never able to talk to me, but have to speak to my husband. I have been added as an Admin on the account numerous times, yet for some reason it isn't in their system. This has happened 5-6 times in the last year... They are unable to link my business account and personal accounts

I have great customer service with Midland employees, Josie, Kendall and Rachel are great. If i have any issues with my account, it gets taken care of right away. I have noticed the actual Homestar employees are not to friendly, they don't smile at all and don't even greet you through the drive thru.

You can only make a Deposit when the bank is open. Online banking isn’t up to date. If you don’t log onto online account for 30 days your online username/password will expire and you have to start over. They cashed my post dated check 5 Days early then charged me for not having the money. When we attempted to speak with a manager they said they had a new policy and that someone would call us back. No we did not receive a call back! This bank has been more of an inconvenience.
