Katelyn Tucker Photography
I am an elopement and wedding photographer based in Northern California, who shoots for the fun quirky weirdos who are unabashedly themselves. I capture the perfection that you are while having a laugh and (almost assuredly) crying along while you read your vows. My name is Katelyn and I want to meet you!

How you get married is a deeply personal choice. Here are a few things I have put together to consider if you want to elope or have a small wedding. I fully believe that you should get married your way. If that includes old traditions, no traditions, new traditions, all the family, no family, big party, or just the two of you, there is no wrong way to celebrate your commitment to your partner.

How you start your marriage should be intentional, personal and should be connected to your story as a couple. Your story has been building since the day you met and this is an amazing new chapter. You shouldn't have to feel overwhelmed, pressured or obligated to do things that you just don't want.

How you choose to get married is significant. Who you choose to be there is important. This is the start of the next chapter of your story and how you choose to get married matters. Your wedding should be about the two of you, coming together to create a new family. If you feel that it should be just the two of you, perfect, let's plan that.

Couples Sessions/Adventure Sessions are something I always highly recommend. Quality time spent together where we can laugh and become comfortable with zero pressure. Also, it gives me time to figure out what the camera loves most about you, so you can look your best on your big day.

I love outdoor sessions and scouting for new locations and can't wait to go somewhere that is personal and meaningful to you, or take you somewhere new, adding another experience to your story!

I have two pages that explain in more detail, but in short an elopement is something under 25 people typically outdoors, where I would help you plan your timeline and location. This keeps the day small enough that it will be truly about the two of you and your marriage. A small wedding would be something under 60 people, where you would most likely have a venue, planners that I would work with to have a timeline.
