Art Gallery & Exhibitions
Report
John Jacopelle's exhibition is a master class in abstract figure painting. Often employing a Picasso-esque style to depict the human form, muted anatomical detail, bold use of color and the absence of faces, Jacopelle conveys a sense of uncertainty and loneliness. The profound anonymity of his subjects perhaps captures the feeling of our recent times.
