Questions
Why should I remove my underground oil tank?
Old steel tanks can corrode and leak, causing environmental contamination and property value issues. Removal prevents potential liabilities and meets lender requirements for property sales.
How much does oil tank removal cost?
Removal costs range from $500 to $2,500 depending on tank size and complexity. This includes site assessment, excavation, disposal, and basic property restoration.
Do you handle regulatory paperwork?
Yes, we complete all required reporting to agencies like NYSDEC and DOH, ensuring proper documentation and case closure for your records.
Can you test for leaks without removing the tank?
We offer soil sampling and field testing to detect leaks. However, testing doesn't prevent future leaks, and removal remains the most reliable solution for aging tanks.
What areas do you service?
We primarily serve Westchester and Putnam Counties, NY, with extensive local regulatory knowledge and established relationships with municipal agencies.

This company is really terrific. We had a very difficult tank removal but the workers stayed with it and got the job done carefully from start to finish. The owner, Joe Tomasulo was a pleasure to work with in terms of the overall process. The workers really respected the landscaping issues and that made a difference in the end result. The price was reasonable and Joe really extended himself to get the new tank well placed in the garage. I highly recommend this company.
