After filling out a form for Glass Doctor, waiting forever for an estimate, which can only be characterized as painful, full of, "this job is really hard, might have to remove some trim" and then never receiving an estimate, we called Freddy's. We heard good things. They came out, gave an estimate, ordered it and two craftsman came out and in thirty minutes the job was done. Yes, they carefully removed some trim but windows in my wife's office now look great. This is the firm for glass in the Waco area. Highly recommended.

Windscreen bullseye chip repair less than 3/4". They take NO pride in their work. My small bullseye chip is now full of air bubbles, and they messed up the resin.
When I said something about the job, they say "we told you it will still be visible" to justify this. Yeah I know that chips are visible after repair.. it's not my first repair. This is different, they're just hiding behind that line to excuse their poor quality work.
Should have just done it myself rather then to have paid Freddy's. Now I have to look at that botch job everyday.

Quote given me over the phone was based upon the VIN# given Freddy's. That price increased 50% later that day via a VM siting "a misunderstanding with our supplier." Really? With a VIN number? With such an underwhelming beginning, this is where my efforts died in aborning.

Had very frustrating experience at Freddy's yesterday. Have gone to them for years. But made appointment with receptionist for yesterday at 12 pm. She said " it will be about 3 hours" total to have your car ready. That's great. Called at 2:45 to check on my car that I dropped off at 11:45 to make sure on time. She said it wasn't ready . I had to pick up my kids at school at 3:30. Had to find another way. I asked why - receptionist said ---The technicians go to lunch from 12-1 so your car was started when they got back. Ok, I get that. But don't make 12pm appointments

Just awful. Very unresponsive and outright rude. Their billing department is a nightmare to deal with. I remodel 20 homes per yr that all get new glass work. They where 2 weeks late on a project and it cost $200 to reschedule my photos 3 times and they refused to take the money off my bill. Keep in mind that I spend over 100k per yr in glass! I highly recommend Anderson glass of home glass is needed.

Service here is bad, seems as though the owners only want to deal with the big $$$.. No chairs even in the office building! Get in, get out, maybe we'll call you this week.. Or not. I do not think they employ many buyers because they take very long to find parts. Didn't use yelp until i complained about this place to a friend and they said to leave a yelp.. Maybe if you work for a company bringing in lots of orders you will get better service,, sure seems that way.

Had a very pleasant experience getting my windshield replaced here. Called on a Thursday and they were able to both confirm that my specific windshield was available and set me up for an appointment next day.
I had to drop my vehicle off during work, but they offered complimentary shuttle to and from work without hesitation. Freddy Jr. himself even gave me a ride on one of the trips and was very friendly and easy to talk to. It's been a few weeks now and the new windshield has held up great. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Have a bad taste in my mouth about these guys. I got a estimate to have the windshield on my 2013 Volvo. I got quotes $1,400 to have the new windshield installed.
After waiting on my insurance check come in, I got back a hold of Freddie's glass to have the windshield installed. I was told that they were no longer able to get that brand anymore. The new total would be 1800.
Then after numerous calls to get it in for the repair with no call back I got fed up and ended up calling Volvo of Dallas. For a Volvo original windshield I payed 801.00.
This was 1,000.00 cheaper than the aftermarket

Three months ago I had a chip repaired at Freddys... it was in a borrowed vehicle that I was using from a buddy of mine. Ny buddy let me use his truck again today and I noticed that the chip repair was cracking. I brought it back to Freddys and not only did they confirm that they could stop the crack ...they did it... they squeeze me in during their lunch hour and they didn't charge me for it! That is one classy way to do business.

I've never been here to have my glass fixed, but when the owner saw me outside of his store stranded with a flat tire, he sent one of his guys out to help me change out my tire no charge. I always feel like that's a great judge or someone's character. So if/when I have to get my glasses fixed, I'm sure I'll head over to Freddys. Thanks again!
