Todd established Wavelength sound in 1977, a multitrack recording facility whose primary application was serving the professional music and music publishing industries. Wavelength also did considerable work with commercial and corporate clientele. In 1997, changing its name to Pyramid Recording, Todd completely rebuilt and expanded the studio and added specific equipment that fit his philosophy.
The History
Report
Pyramid's own classic custom API console was built in 1974 and had a glamorous trajectory before reaching our studio. It was actually the very console used on the following albums. Elton John, Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Van Morrison, Mad Season, and Candlebox also used this console on some of their albums.
