We also celebrate our local environment and historic Southport, and our regional cuisine. I keep going back to Ports of Call. I like the atmosphere. It's international, and the owner sits in the window or the bar overseeing everything. That's unusual and special. Somehow I'm reminded of Rick's in Casablanca, only there is no gambling in the backroom ( I don't think there is.)

People play the central role in Ports of Call Bistro. This of course includes our Staff, but our "Team" has grown to include many members of the community who have formed strong bonds with us as we share in the celebration of global food and culture. Mike's his own words: I began my cooking career at the young age of 11, it drew me in almost immediately.
