DogServices is dedicated to providing the finest dog boarding and dog daycare facilities in Richmond and Glen Allen, Virginia. Founded in 1990 by local dog trainer Donna Crumpler, the business began when clients started asking her to care for their pets during vacations. In 2007, after 18 successful years, Donna handed over the leash to a group of investors who were (and remain) loyal clients.
Since then, DogServices has added a Short Pump location and focused on attracting, developing, and retaining a high-caliber staff of dedicated dog professionals. DogServices focuses every day on safety, cleanliness, client-communication, and tail-wagging dog happiness. Our care is distinguished by 24-hour on-site staffing, dog-behavior evaluations, a 3-point safety check system and more.

DogServices welcomes dogs for sleepovers by reservation. Our buildings are staffed round-the-clock so your dog is never, ever left alone. Sure, you can call us a kennel, but we're not your typical, boring old dog kennel. Think of us as a community play center for dogs! We provide an indoor/outdoor play facility with plenty of space for both group exercise and quiet time when needed.

Dog daycare (or doggie daycare as we like to call it) is a great solution for your dog when you're faced with long workdays, day trips, real-estate showings, house-guests, entertaining, or even on moving day. On your busiest days, your dog will enjoy playing safely with canine friends instead of spending the time alone or separated from the action.

All of DogServices locations provide dog boarding, dog daycare, dog training, and dog bathing, plus add-on services like games of fetch, extra TLC and more. Our flagship DogServices location at 4800 Thalbro Street is near the intersection of Staples Mill Road and Broad Street next to The Richmond Athletic Club.

Our flagship DogServices location at 4800 Thalbro Street in Richmond, near the intersection of Staples Mill Road and Broad Street, caters to medium-size and larger dogs, averaging 35 pounds and up. We have 20 lots for outdoor play including 1 large K9 grass lot, 6 paved, and 13 gravel lots. All lots have a shaded area and at least one platform for dogs that prefer to sit off of the ground (others will actually lay under them).
