Fireplace Pros
We started our fireplace company in Wichita, KS over 20 yrs ago. Wanting to be closer to our kids and grandkids, we relocated to the Colorado Springs area in 2013. Our company started out as a hobby for Russ 23 yrs ago, but has quickly morphed into a full time endeavor because of his troubleshooting skills.

He is the go to guy in Southern Colorado to fix most any fireplace, stove, pellet stove or fire pit. Russ is a stickler for safety, and a great teacher, He will take the time to explain how to use your gas fireplace or stove, and how to build a healthy hot wood fire that draws well. Shelly, runs the office and will set up your appointment and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

I've worked with Russ and Shelly in the past in the fireplace, stove, and gas log business. Honestly, it's hard to find better people than them! They are hard working, creative, honest, and hard working people. I HIGHLY suggest that you hire them for any of your fireplace needs! I cannot recommend them enough!

A standing pilot is a small flame that stays on all the time in your fireplace. When you flip the switch on the wall or push your remote button it sparks the thermopile which connects with the pilot and the burner comes on. High winds can blow a pilot out. We here in Colorado have 17% air added to our gas lines to keep a flame going.
