Just off the coast of the Gulf in Citrus County, FL, the 18-hole golf course at Southern Woods Golf Club opened for play in 1992. Designed by architect Hale Irwin, the course measures 6,935 yards from the back tees, with a USGA rating/slope of 73.0/127. The club also offers a double-sided driving range, putting green and chipping green, as well as lessons from a staff of PGA golf professionals.

Members of Sugarmill Woods Country Club and Southern Woods Golf Club have access to 36 holes of golf in Sugarmill Woods, a golfing community on Florida's West Coast. Located in Homosassa, Florida, the club also offers members, for a limited time, access to 36 holes of golf at World Woods Golf Club a few miles away in Hernando County.

Southern Woods boasts a double sided driving range, as separate putting green, and a large chipping green with practice bunker and area for longer pitch shots. The Driving range has Laserlink yardage binoculars to judge accurate distances to the flags. The Southern Woods pro shop carries a variety of mens and ladies golfwear, shoes, visors, golf balls and accessories.

It will start with the course you have selected if you need to change click the blue writing that says change. Next you will see number of holes the blue highlighted one is the one selected if you want to switch select the white box area that says 18 Holes or 9 Holes.

The team at Southern Woods makes every effort to create a personalized experience for all that come to our facility. We look forward to seeing you for lunches, dinners, and events! All that come as friends, leave as family. Our main dining room is utilized primarily for dinners and events. Our dinner service is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays by reservation only.
