Waynesville, NC
Report
The second Saturday evening of December, amidst the backdrop of hundreds of luminaries lining the sidewalks, you will enjoy carolers, live music, visiting Santa, and old fashioned wagon rides. Step back in time and stroll through Bethlehem as First Baptist Church re-creates a live nativity and bustling first century marketplace in the parking lot between Exxon and Waynesville Town Hall.
Hiking Trails
Report
Being the eastern gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park mean access to hundreds of miles of hiking, some of the best in the country. The nearby National Forests and Blue Ridge Parkway also offer hikes, from short strolls to day hikes and longer. Here are some of our favorites. From the Waterrock Knob Parking lot the trails stars up the stairs at the north end of the parking lot.
