We had a couple years of positive experiences but something has changed dramatically recently. I could detail my many minor frustrations with the lack of communication and what seems to be intentional deceit with moving students between classes without notifying parents, but I feel the two major incidents that caused us to leave will speak for themselves:
In the last week and a half my daughter was first directly given a known allergen by a staff member, causing an ER visit and extremely stressful day for my whole family. To be clear, this was not an accidental exposure - she was handed a cup

I took my niece there when she was aged 1-4 and she had a wonderful experience. She looked forward to coming daycare. She also learned a lot including some basic Spanish, which we were very impressed with. She teachers were so kind and caring. They respond quickly and we loved seeing what the school was up to on social media.

I gave 2 weeks notice that I would be keeping my child home for a few months. My decision came after multiple days closed for Covid, very short notice of shorting hours and a general concern for our familys exposure. The director was defensive and threatened litigation almost immediately without even listening to my situation. Im very willing to admit Im aware that under normal circumstances they require 30 days notice. I was genuinely hoping that the same level of understanding they kept asking of us parents would be reciprocated. The staff in general seemed caring but maybe not the most
