Since opening for operation in August of 1995, New Life Driving School has been actively and effectively training young students and adults from the Bergen, Passaic, and surrounding county areas to be some of the finest and safest drivers on the road. Having worked with students in over 60 public and private schools, our fleet of Kia Fortes are immaculate and expertly maintained.

Our staff is comprised of some of the most experienced driving instructors in the state of New Jersey. We have over 70 years of combined experience, and over 21 years of experience exclusively serving Bergen and Passaic Counties. To provide quality driving instruction for student drivers of all ages.

After passing the NJ permit test, you'll be ready to get behind the wheel for our 6 hour behind the wheel, new driver training course. This is required by the state before obtaining your NJ learners permit if you are under 17 years old. The 6 hour behind the wheel course is a state minimum, and may not be enough for every student.

The driving age in NJ is 17. The state of NJ has an "early bird route" that allows a student driver, at the age of 16, to drive with supervision only after they receive a minimum of 6 hours of behind the wheel driving instruction with a NJ state-certified driving school. The driving school must do all that for you.
