The campground will operate as a public facility within Malibu Creek State Park, providing safe, accessible camping for equestrians exploring the Santa Monica Mountains.
Trail Access
Campers will enjoy direct access to over 500 miles of scenic trails in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The facility connects to popular routes like the Backbone Trail and Paramount Ranch paths, offering diverse terrain for all skill levels. Our development preserves historic riding corridors while maintaining environmental protections for sensitive habitats.

The campground will feature designated areas for organized equestrian groups with expanded corrals and communal spaces.
