They waited until the last minute to verify my insurance for a telemed visit so they had to reschedule me and I have wait another 2 weeks on top of the 2 weeks I had waited previously for a visit. Had they verified prior they could have had me set up with an in person appt sooner before they got all booked up.

I previously posted a rather bad review of Dr. Rodriguez. In retrospect, I am deleting that review and adding another. Dr. Rodriguez is treating a family member of mine and I could not ask for a more compassionate and caring doctor. His bedside manner is impeccable. He even told my family member “If whatever is bothering you enough that you need to go to the ER, you call me instead and I will instruct my staff to schedule you in”. Dr. Rodriguez listens to you attentively and does not make the visit rushed. My personal visit was something gone wrong, circumstances possibly and I should have

I’m beyond disappointed with the Grissom office. I am a self pay patient and I had an appointment scheduled for a follow up. I just received a message that the Dr. I was booked with all of a sudden doesn’t have availability and my appointment is going to be cancelled. They also informed they are now scheduled 6 months out however, if I get insurance, they can see about scheduling me in sooner. Being scheduled 6 months out is not an issue. The issue is cancelling my appointment because I am a self pay patient. HORRIBLE! These medical offices should understand that they are seeing patients with

It is the pandemic so I want to give Family Medical the benefit of the doubt, but I am beyond disappointed. The office staff answers the phones from their homes so there is a significant lag between when you arrive and when the facility was altered that I arrived (I am pretty sure they forgot to let them know I was there waiting). When I was seen, the Dr. was polite, but not personable. The reason for my rating was the unfair billing practice I experienced. I went for an annual preventative checkup. The doctors are good. There's an online portal to schedule appointments. The concept is nice, but I always end up having to get a call from the office or call them to try to schedule something. It ends up being more of a hassle than just calling an office. The portal does allow you to go back and check all of your test results. The implementation of virtual visits is lacking. Sometimes the visit is good, sometimes it's hard to communicate. Again, not a bad practice. 3-4 star.
