No Name Tattoo is a small custom tattoo studio located in the Historic District of Utica, A suburb located 12 miles north of Detroit. We've been open & serving the community since 2007. We fully exceed all State of Michigan health requirements & exceed the CDC guidelines for autoclave testing. THIS IS THE SAME OR EVEN MORE STRICT SAFETY STANDARD THEN WHAT DENTAL LABS or small surgical clinics use. Our safety testing is done by an outside lab and our records are available for your inspection upon request.
Artists
Report
Artists set their own prices individually and each have a different rate, style, and availability. Most tattoo appointments require a deposit (typically 25% of the total cost or 1 hour of the artists rate) to book an appointment. Our studio features 100% private rooms - our studio is small therefore we will only allow you to bring one guest to your appointment.
Body Piercing

All of our starter jewelry is externally threaded which has been in the industry standard for over 20+ years. We do offer some upgrades (anodized colors, gemstone optioNS) for an additional $5 charge. Our starter body piercing jewelry is made from ASTM F-136 certified (G23) implant grade titanium or ASTM F-138 certified implant grade "SURGICAL" stainless steel.
For Minors
Report
For any procedure involving a minor Michigan State Law requires that the parent be present to sign the paperwork, remain present during the procedure, and provide to the studio their ID, the birth certificate of the minor, and some form of ID for the minor having the procedure done. The minimum ages that we've established are requirements laid out by our insurance.

Q: Why are your body piercings priced lower the some other studios? A: Our body piercings are performed with implant grade metals (see our piercing page for more info). We cut costs by simplifying the choices offered for starter jewelry (most piercings have several choices), and buy our supplies in bulk from the factory to keep the prices lower.
