Cosmetic Dermatology
Report
Cosmetic treatments like Botox and fillers are medical procedures and should not be confused with spa-like treatments. Years of experience, extensive training and mastery of facial anatomy are essential for safe patient outcomes, while artistry is indispensable for truly natural looking results.

Here at Kessel Dermatology, our expert injector Savy Guthrie MPAS, PA-C not only has over 17 years of dermatology and cosmetic experience, she also has a background in art and music. She's the specialist that other medical professionals, within the field, seek out for their own cosmetic treatments. Come in or call 609-890-2885 for a free consultation and let Savy help you look your best!
Allergic Patch Testing
Report
Many times, patients with rashes that continually recur or do not resolve with traditional medical approaches have an allergy to something in their environment. This condition is called Allergic Contact Dermatitis, and its cause can be very challenging to identify.

When we suspect an environmental cause for certain skin rashes, we sometimes perform a diagnostic procedure known as patch testing, wherein "patches" containing small amounts of allergens (substances potentially causing the allergic reaction) found in suspected products are applied to the skin to evaluate your personal response to these products.
Microneedling
Report
As we age, we start to lose collagen. Microneedling works by using small sterile needles to create tiny punctures in the skin. This stimulates your body's own natural healing process to generate collagen and rejuvenate. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, improving the appearance of fine lines and skin tightening.
Phototherapy
Report
The skin is the largest organ of the body, and it dynamically responds to different wavelengths of light. Many common skin conditions such as eczema, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo, and some types of alopecia can be successfully treated or controlled with light treatments.

Knowledge of the photo-biological interactions between the many types of light and skin conditions allows dermatologists to treat these conditions non-invasively, while avoiding the side effects and interactions of many traditional medications. We have a number of phototherapy units at Kessel Dermatology, and make light treatments of all types fast, convenient, and readily accessible for all our patients.
