In 1994, just as the fledgling craft beer industry was starting to gather steam in Colorado, Mike and Amanda Bristol settled comfortably in the lap of Pikes Peak and started hand-brewing fresh, distinctive ales for the locals in Colorado Springs. Today, our beers are available on draught and in six packs, four packs, and bombers across the state.
And Mike and Amanda have been joined by a cast of characters that make magic happen at Bristol every day. Collectively, we are a family of smart, friendly people who really love beer. We love the glorious flavor. We love the global tradition and history. We love the art and science of brewing. And the pure contentment of enjoying a pint at the end of the day.

Something we're fanatics about is giving back to our community. After all, we're raising our kids and dogs here. We want it to still be good when our grandkids and future pets are roaming the place. For us, that means a community that's interesting. Inspiring. A place to thrive. So we regularly support over 200 nonprofit organizations each year with in-kind and monetary donations, and/or volunteers.
Karma Hour
Report
Tuesdays from 6-8pm, $1 from every pint sold in the Bristol Pub goes to the local nonprofit featured that week. It's our way of supporting many of the deserving organizations in Colorado Springs, raising awareness and funding hand-in-hand with a delicious Bristol pint. Karma Hour recipients are required to be at the Bristol Pub by 6pm and stay until 8pm - the full time frame of the donations from pint sales.

Here at Bristol Brewing, we've always brewed what we like to drink. We think that's the way it should be and it's why you won't see any beers infused with lime and salt on our menu. That philosophy applies to our charitable giving too: we like to support causes that strengthen the community we live in and that match up with our core values.
The Bristol Pub

One of Bristol's Benefit Beers, benefiting Venetucci Farm. This ale starts with locally-grown pumpkins, cut and roasted by our staff and friends. Our brewers add the roasted pumpkin to the mash for just a hint of pumpkin flavor, then bring in subtle spicing and a touch of hops for a malty treat. One of Bristol's Benefit Beers, benefiting Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts.

So we make really tasty beer. Both for ourselves, and for those in our relative vicinity. We're not interested in shipping our beer all over the planet. We like our beer fresh and local. In fact, we like to say that if you should get your hands on a Bristol beer, chances are it was brewed no more than a few hours from where you're enjoying it.
