Mequon Music Academy is located on Port Washington Road, just North of Mequon Rd. From I-43 take the Mequon Road exit and turn right onto Port Washington Road. Our location is easily accessible to music students from Mequon, Thiensville, Cedarburg, Grafton, Bayside, Brown Deer, River Hills, Fox Point, Glendale, Whitefish Bay, Shorewood and Milwaukee.
Excellent music instruction from our highly professional and experienced instructors draws students from Ozaukee, Milwaukee and Washington counties. Mequon Music Academy came about from the closing of the Schaum Music School in 2016. Our faculty have taught students from Mequon and the north shore area since the late 1980's.

Music Lessons

It improves our hearing, listening, fine motor skills and our memory. It can help protect ourselves from some mind related diseases, such as Alzheimers and dementia.
Piano Lessons

There are many good reasons to take piano lessons. The piano is an instrument like no other, with endless possibilities for musical expression. One can play melody, harmony, rhythms - each by itself - or in any combination on the piano. It does it all, and for this reason could be considered an "orchestra" by itself.
Guitar & Bass Lessons

Becoming a good guitar player requires proper instruction with weekly lessons from an experienced guitar teacher. Some people think they can teach themselves how to play. All they have to do is buy a book or look at the internet and they'll become a good player. Perhaps if you are a born musical prodigy this will work for you, few people are.
Ukulele Lessons

For the same reasons you need proper instruction to learn any instrument. All of the reasons outlined for why lessons are needed to learn how to play the guitar, are the same for a ukulele. Some people think the ukulele would be an easy instrument to play and lessons are not needed. This is not true.
