White County Fair

For over a century, White County Fair has served as a cornerstone of community tradition in Sparta, Tennessee. Our organization celebrates agricultural excellence through livestock competitions, including beef, dairy, goat, poultry, sheep, and swine exhibitions. We provide a platform for youth and adult education through cultural art entries, school displays, and agricultural showcases that highlight local talent and heritage. The fair features diverse entertainment options like rodeos, demolition derbies, carnival rides, and pageants that engage visitors of all ages. Our historic fairgrounds host annual events that preserve rural traditions while fostering community connections through food vendors, craft demonstrations, and competitive exhibitions.

With both physical and mailing addresses in Sparta, we maintain accessibility for local participants and visitors alike. Our dedicated staff manages building rentals, vendor applications, and sponsorship programs to support ongoing operations. Through partnerships with local agricultural organizations and community volunteers, we continue to uphold our mission of celebrating rural life and community spirit. The fair's programming emphasizes family-friendly entertainment while providing educational opportunities for youth through 4-H programs and scholarship initiatives. Our event calendar reflects a commitment to preserving Southern Appalachian cultural heritage through music performances, craft demonstrations, and historical exhibits.
