Steve and his team have developed a reputation for designing a signature style when it comes to coastal homes. This reputation for excellence and elegance, along with our own firsthand experience in seeing the finished product, is what motivated us to contact him when we began the process of building our beachfront home. From walking the site, to understanding our needs, and the "bedside manner" they had in the many frequent touchpoints along the way, Steve and his team developed and delivered an amazing design that captured the unique characteristics of our site, and the eye of many a passerby

I could never have imagined a more beautiful homecoming. The fabrics were perfect, the entry foyer amazing, layout perfect, most of all the mix of elegant and relaxed made it the perfect balance of beauty and comfort. Thank you Theresa and Sara for your hard work and beautiful interior design!

I was first introduced to Steve Herlong and his firm, Herlong and Associates, over 10 years ago. In that time we have worked together on a number of projects. Steve, Jim and the team of architects and designers theyve assembled are excellent at what they do. Not only are they hugely talented but they are fun to work with and consummate professionals. They design beautiful homes and support them with detailed plans from which to build. If you are looking to build a high end home in Charleston, be sure you talk to Herlong and Associates.

Working with Herlong & Associates could not have gone more smoothly. They seem to know what I wanted before I did. They were able to articulate the ideas we had into real plans for our home. If we were to build a house again, we would definitely use them again.

We loved working with the Herlong team. Everyone was professional, talented and hard working. Our questions were always answered immediately which was important to us since we were often out of state during the process. They served not only as our eyes and ears but also our hearts.
