Mavericks was founded as a stepping stone of Austin Lessons and Tutoring, LLC. We use all the funds from our trails and lessons to build toward our goal. If you take a peak at the reviews and listen to the voicemail, you will learn that during peak times it is not possible for us to respond to every inquiry individually, as much as we would like to, as our hands can get literally full out here on the ranch!

Don't book without reading some reviews. All of our sessions are instructional. All of them are Safety First, Horses Second and FUN COMES AFTER THOSE TWO THINGS. Yes we DO love to adventure and we do LOVE LOVE LOVE to pick up the pace but we will NOT jeopardize the mental or physical health of our horses for the sake of a rider having a yee-haw.

Where do trails end and lessons begin? At Mavericks, we've created a unique approach to trail riding. All of our trails are lesson-based, so any time you ride with us there is an educational component. Looking for regular riding lessons? We offer weekly sessions for locals who want to learn all the ins and outs of horsemanship, from the ground up.
Boarding

We provide a unique opportunity in the Austin area (25-45 minutes) for boarders looking for a natural environment, stunning trails with water features, hills and huge panoramic views. Short term boarding options are available in private paddock, pasture or stalls. Long term boarding is in the pasture with our herd, where horses get to run around with each other and be horses.
