Dr. Jonathan Freed earned his Bachelor of Science in human biology and medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1990. Dr. Freed spent the next six years training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Freed is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Freed has received various awards for his community service and has participated in multiple volunteer projects overseas. He has performed plastic surgery mission work in both India and Africa. Dr. Freed is involved with an organization called Here4Them, a faith-based ministry that provides medical and humanitarian services for people in Ethiopia.
