With over 35 years in optical care, Brian established Doyle Opticians in 1986. He expanded the practice through Marcus Opticians acquisition in 1996. Brian maintains active involvement in community health initiatives and youth programs.

How often should I get an eye exam?

Adults should have annual exams. Children need evaluations before school starts and every two years thereafter. Diabetic patients require yearly retinal exams.

Do you accept walk-in appointments?

While we prefer scheduled visits, we welcome walk-ins during regular business hours. Contact lens fittings and complex cases benefit from advance scheduling.

Eye Doctor was thorough in her exam and clear in her explanations Most important, she went slowly through the final steps of determining my prescription, showing me the options over and over again until I felt comfortable with my selection. The price range and frame selection was good and I felt comfortable making a choice of frames and lenses. The magnetic sunglass option they offer regardless of frame is an added bonus.

Best eye care anywhere! I have had lenses made backwards and had prescriptions determined by the machine alone resulting in over-correction at chain eyeglass stores. Dr. Maitino carefully evaluates eye health and prescription needs/changes. Brian and Miguel take extra care to make sure my glasses and contact lenses are right from fit to fashion. They listen carefully to my impressions and concerns treating me with respect and kindness. They are as good with my children as they are with me. Our family is so fortunate to have found Doyle and plan to keep going here for years to come.

Doyle Opticians has always been fantastic for our family, from fitting a nervous child with the perfect first pair of glasses to providing great options for mom. When a pair of glasses needed fixing due to some roughhousing, they quickly got us in and made the adjustment for free. Also very much appreciate the attention to COVID safety protocols. Highly recommend!

Ive had several prescriptions filled with Doyle Opticians over the years. Brian and his staff are wonderful to work with. The selection is good, and more importantly, they explain in detail what is going into the lenses, how it will benefit my vision. I always learn something new when I visit them. Theyre also quick to respond. Overall great service!

Doyle not only offers great service, they have a breadth of knowledge and expertise the chains pretend to have. It's important to note that they handle their own lenses so your prescription is handled in-house and not mass produced.
Yes, there is a difference -- a big difference.
