Debbie and Tim Bishop bought Medicine Bow Lodge in 2002. The ranch is rich in history, with the lodge being built in the early 1917, with the original kitchen and dining room still in tact, and functioning to serve our guests delicious meals. Medicine Bow Lodge operates as a guest dude ranch during late spring, summer, and fall.
What sets MBL apart from other guest ranches is the personal touch and attention that each and every guest will experience during their stay. From the interaction with Debbie and Tim themselves to our amazing team members. We want this to be an extraordinary opportunity for them to unplug, unwind, to truly enjoy and reconnect with their families.

Jessie More and her Brother in-law George "Baldy" Sisson built the lodge to give dudes from the east a place to vacation. Medicine Bow Lodge remains the ideal location for folks from the crowded, busy cities to come and get away from it all. While here you will experience the great beauty of this part of Wyoming.
