Heartbreaking to write this review as my family has been coming to Lake Raystown Resort my entire life. My parents never received the renewal letter to their dock slip and stopped in on their own accord at the end of September. After being verbally abused by an unprofessional front desk worker, they spoke to the marina manager who was no better. The problem wasn't that they were being told no to the renewal, it was that the method they were being handled was beyond unprofessional - it was disrespectful. Love this campground!!!! We need more campgrounds like this! They are setup for a large number of campers!!! Big and spacious sites! They have everything you want to rent from boats to bikes!!! Did not use the bathrooms or showers since we are in a large rig!!!
All campsites are on level cement pads, makes for easy setup!!!
The river sites are great, you can fish from your site! The lake is gorgeous! Worth the extra money!!!
Easy check in is great!!! Have not had any bad experiences here!!! Other then our slide out not coming it! But that's all on us!!!!

Very nice place. Pool is great. All staff very friendly. I like must be background checked and no trash campers. Sitting up for 2 months for work. The lake and boat rentals. Only bad thing is my wife came down and thinks all campsites are this nice. Lol. She doesn't want to leave. Really feel safe. Great place

We visited this spot for 3 days in a cabin. We luckily got a spot right next to the lake/river so it was nice and cool under the trees. The interior was nice and modern while still making it feel like we were still camping in cabins! They had very nice staff and everyone did there job very well. They had easy to use accommodations. Lovely stay, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore Hot Springs!

My finances family and I stayed here for our vacation in Hot Springs. It was all our first time traveling hours from home to stay in a RV spot. I really loved the experience and camping here! The pool area was spacious, they had a pond, trails, disc golf and a service desk stocked with snacks/drinks/etc right on site. You could also rent golf carts, boats, canoes, kayaks, you name it. We rented kayaks and the staff was very friendly.
It is totally a kid friendly and dog friendly place!
Its all right on the river so very easy for water activities. Best part is the park is not far from downtown

We drove in from Texas to visit Catherine's Landing for a mini COVID friendly vacation. Upon arriving, check in was easy and the people were friendly! We stayed in the Yurts which were a fun experience. They don't have running water/bathrooms in the Yurt, but their public bathrooms are close by and very clean. They have decent sized showers with plentiful hot water and the only time this area would get crowded would be when all the families showered around 7pm, which wasn't a big deal at all considering it was Labor Day weekend.

This was an absolute dream spot. The staff is OUTSTANDING WELCOMING HELPFUL LOVELY. Wifi was EXCELLENT which was key for us as we work from our camper during the workday hours. The staff keeps this park immaculate, guests are courteous. They follow COVID rules masks and only a certain number at a time at the pool which is perfectly fine. We WILL BE BACK...soon! Very unprofessional office staff. Was planning company getaway, which was referred to me by cousin whom visited the BR Mountains last year. Called last Thursday- was throttled by horrible customer service. I was passed along from phone operator-to-operator. Then a young girl answered who proceeded to keep me on ‘hold’ for ~30 minutes, of in which I could hear amateur unrelated office chit-chat (strewn with gratuitous vulgar profanity) shockingly enough, that was another facet completely unrelated to my needs. Loved this location. Amazing service friendly staff and VERY clean. The WIFI is not good it connected but very slow. Don't think you will be doing work. It won't happen with their connection. When we checked out the facility was cleaning our site with in 30 seconds. That is some commitment to clean!! Boat rentals, close to national park, close to groceries. Want to come back. 4.5 stars!!!

First let me say its a beautiful camp site and a great location and i would have considered coming back if it wasnt for their refund policy. I called and asked to move my stay 1 night not losing any days at all only moving and they told me they would have to charge me for an extra day. I tried to explain that i only wanted to move it and still pay the same price and they said no. Not like the park is sold out. We are on our way home and was told to stay here but i wont be recommending this location to my friends who travel through the area.

Catherine's Landing is one of my favorite RV parks. Clean, well maintained, and laid out beautifully. We picked a site along the river and it was perfect for me & my husband. It's conveniently located to historic Hot Springs, where there is much to see and do. We'll definitely be back and we hope to bring family to join us.

A very nice RV park! The setting is gorgeous with the lake on one side of the park and dense forest surrounding the rest of the park. The sites are a mix of pull through and back in with a set of water front sites along the lake. The sites are concrete for the parking pad and have a picnic table and BBQ available. The park has a ton of amenities including a great pool area, pavilion, dog park, disc golf course, boat rentals, etc. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. Wonderful place with so much to do. Very nice size lots and a wonderful dog park. The pool is beautiful & although we didn't have very many people the week we were there, I did see a few kids enjoying the splash pad. Nice fire pits for roasting and also a bbq pit in our pull through. The convenience store was stocked well & had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful & so serene. I can imagine this place would be packed come summer. They are working on phase 2 but it did not bother us at all. Great stay!! About 50 bucks for full hookup with 50amp. We will be back!!

Talk about a hidden gem, this place was nothing short of amazing. When you pull in, the driveway is long enough to have you question whether you're in the right place, or lost in the mountains (although their friendly signage along the way definitely helps).
Once you pull in to the check-in area, the woods completely open up to a beautiful landscape with lots of space and beautifully architected buildings.

Great camp area!! CL has all the amenities you could ask for, from large RV spaces that can accommodate any coach, to the many recreational options. You like to zip line? Got it!! Maybe you want to kayak, enjoy some leisure by the pool, or walk the peaceful trails. Whatever your pleasure, just ask the super friendly staff, and they'll get you started having fun no matter what you decide. So if you're going to be in the area, I highly recommend this resort for a trouble free destination.

We've stayed at this campground three times and enjoyed it every time. We have a 5th wheel so we are pretty self contained, but I love the campground and the space. This campground is 1/2 way between our home and Dallas, so it will become a regular stopping place for us.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants a clean roomy location in the Hot Springs area.
