Gary and Brad Wainer began a practice with the goal of providing primary medical care medicine for the whole family- from birth through the golden years. We began our life in a small office at the corner of 34th and Oak Park Ave. Our practice has expanded since that time to include six physicians who are all Board Certified within the fields of Family Medicine or Pediatrics.
Dr Gary Wainer, one of the founders of the practice, has since left the practice and is now working in an administrative capacity for MacNeal Hospital. As a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Medical Home Certified Practice, we strongly believe that each patient should have a primary care doctor who cares for all ongoing medical problems.

Dr. Brad Wainer

Dr. Wainer graduated from Midwestern University in 1983. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at MacNeal Hospital in 1986, where he was also the Chief Resident. He became Board Certified in by the American Board of Family Medicine 1986 and continues his recertification on a regular basis. He is also a board-certified in Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Michael Gershberg

Dr. Michael Gershberg graduated from Northwestern University and earned his medical degree from University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a residency in Family Medicine at St. Joseph Hospital where he served as chief resident, and joined Primary Care Associates in 2001. In addition to caring for his patients, Dr Gershberg enjoys precepting medical students from University of Chicago where he holds a post of clinical assistant professor.
Dr. Matt Hsieh

Dr. Matthew Hsieh (pronounced "shay") joined Primary Care Associates in 2001 after completing his Family Medicine Residency at West Suburban Medical Center. Dr. Hsieh earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Wheaton College and his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School.

Dr. Lori Weiss was originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Washington University in 1979 and subsequently received her MD Degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1985.
Dr. Weiss was a Pediatric Intern and Resident at The Children's Memorial Hospital (now called Lurie Children's Hospital) in Chicago from 1985-1988 and spent the following year as Chief Pediatric Resident at The Children's Memorial Hospital.She is an experienced pediatrician who has been practicing in the Western Suburbs since 1989.

Raza Useini - Office Administrator

Raza Useini has been working at Primary Care Associates since 2002. She had worked as a receptionist for 12 years, 4 years as our Assistant Manager and now manages the entire office. Raza prides herself on patient satisfaction and enjoys her daily interactions. Raza enjoys spending her free time with her husband and 3 boys.
