Discover Fine Art at New Masters Gallery in Carmel
Founded in 1974 by Bill and Jennifer Hill, New Masters Gallery has evolved from a modest space showcasing six local artists to a 4,000-square-foot gallery representing over 40 artists globally. Our journey began with a passion for art and a commitment to nurturing emerging talent, exemplified by our early mentorship under DeWitt Whistler Jayne, a distant relative of James McNeill Whistler. Over five decades, we have cultivated relationships with artists like George Molnar, now recognized as a leading Western painter, and expanded our reach to include creators from Europe, Asia, and beyond. Our dedication to the Carmel community is reflected in annual charity drives and events supporting local causes, including the Carmel Bay School and Kinship Center. As stewards of both art and community, we prioritize integrity, transparency, and a familial approach, treating artists and collectors as extended family. Recognized as Carmels Best Gallery by the Carmel Business Association, our expertise in curating fine art is matched by our commitment to fostering connections between creators and patrons.

Contacted asking for some simple information on a couple of pieces I own. I sent them pictures, they communicated back and forth a couple of times - then they simply stopped all communication. No reason, no "Thank you, we appreciate the inquiry, but we are not interested", they just stopped entirely. Unbelievable, and the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with any art/collectible dealer. Customer service is clearly unknown here as I have received better treatment from a local comic book shop than this.

The staff is cordial, knowledgeable, and courteous. You are made to feel welcome, and every question you ask will be answered politely. Better yet, the paintings are exceptional and worth intense scrutiny.
