Shawn R. Jackson began working part-time at Sewing Machine Mart over 25 years ago while still working as a firefighter. In 2002, he bought Sewing Machine Mart, continuing in his job for the Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service. He has since retired and works exclusively servicing all makes and models of sewing machines.
