Matt the owner answered the phone when I called and met with me to discuss pre planning for a relative. He was knowledgeable about the process and even gave me non-funeral information to help things go smoothly. Nice to have someone go the extra mile. The feeling inside was light and bright. This is not the stuffy funeral parlor where dead people are mourned but a place to celebrate life.

I would definitely recommend Longwood Funeral Home, and specifically, Matt, the owner, to anyone who loses a loved one and is looking for a funeral home that offers high quality professional care by a compassionate individual. I recently lost my 89-year-old mom. I had contacted Matt 3 years ago in preparation for the inevitable day when my mom would pass. Matt greeted me with a warm smile and spent almost an hour with me going over all of the options that is offered at Longwood and filling out all of the necessary forms. My mom passed away in the evening and I called Longwood and left a message
