This was the second time I went fishing with Mike. He is always set up and ready to fish when we get there. Mike is very knowledgeable about the species of fish we are after and the river system we are fishing. He put us on fish and made a great day fishing. Mike makes sure we are comfortable with his techniques and explains what we are doing. I cant say enough about Mikes knowledge and understanding of the river system and the fish in it. Mike is fun and very enjoyable to fish with. I definitely will be fishing with him again.

Mike took my 7 year old and myself to chase salmon out of Red Bluff in late August. He worked hard to put us on fish, but didn't neglect to emphasize the overall experience of being out on the river ... he lent my little one his binoculars to check out some bald eagles, took the time to pull over on a gravel bar for a bit so he could chase after some lizards, let him check out the myriad of different lures, and rigged up a rod for him to catch some pikeminnow while the salmon fishing was slow. Mike is highly competent, knowledgeable and patient - we had an all-around great time fishing and spending
