When you select a Driving School, choose one that gives you a valuable experience that will last a lifetime. My daughter was so nervous for her first driving lesson I was worried that she wouldn't retain what she was learning or worse. Her instructor Steve was very understanding and immediately made all of us feel at ease.

About Us
Report
A1 Driving School was started in 1999 by Steve Peck after the California School system dropped free Drivers Training from the public high schools. Steve saw a pressing need to start a driving school that would provide highly trained and college-educated instructors for the local students. The most important factor is not the price.
Driver Training Appointments
Report
Take California driving lessons to earn your first drivers license or improve your driving skills. A1 Driving School provides the behind-the-wheel training you need, no matter your age or skill level. If you're under 18, the DMV requires you to complete six hours of California driving lessons to earn your license.
Traffic School
Report
When you get ticketed in California, you have a couple of options to think about. You could simply give in and pay the full citation fine and let your DMV record suffer for 3 years! Or you could opt for attending an in-classroom traffic-school and spend 8 hours of your spare time (not counting the drive to and from) in an office-room with 50 other traffic violators.
Dmv Study Services
Report
The DMV YouTube channel offers a wide range of videos to help you understand how to be a safe driver. The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) created the "Top Ten Reasons for Failing the Driving Test" video specifically to recount the most common mistakes prospective drivers make during their behind-the-wheel exams.
