Saltash Mountain
My child said it feels like the hard shell he has grown to get through his time in school was broken away and his soft insides are there again. I see this in him, too. He is more open, available, appreciative, and kind. You returned a better child to me. He was younger and more excited by life, having generally worn away some of his jaded, worldly callouses.

Thank you for that shine. Farm & Wilderness summer camps are nestled on 4,800 secluded acres in Vermont. These beautiful woods, mountains and lakes are our playground, classroom and home. Each one of our camps features a unique program but all share a common theme for all our youth; creating an environment where we live in community with one another as we explore a life that is simple, rugged and exciting!

Learn About Our Values
Report
At Farm & Wilderness summer camps in Vermont, we believe that a diverse community makes us stronger and more resilient. Our Quaker heritage lays out the concept of the 'Light of the Spirit' in each person and we work each year to live up to this ideal. Our goal is to provide an open and affirming space for children, young people and staff, where they feel welcomed for who they are, not feel pressured to be something else.
