Star Investigations & Legal Services was founded by retired Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff Rick Hippach over a decade ago. Following his career in law enforcement he earned a Bachelors Degree (BA) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Political Science.
Before venturing on his own, Rick was employed by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) as a Background Investigator and later took positions with Riverside and Ventura Counties as a criminal defense investigator.In 2007 Rick decided to use his investigative experience and education to establish a professional private investigation firm that stood out from its competitors, and thus Star Investigations & Legal Services was born.
