Thank you for your interest in Prince Aircraft Company. I'm Lonnie Prince, I founded Prince Aircraft Company in 1979 as a part-time business in the basement of my home. During that time I worked full-time as an Air Traffic Controller, building my own experimental aircraft, flying corporate aircraft, and President of our local Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter.
After the 1981 Air Traffic Controller strike I began manufacturing propellers as a full time occupation. My manufacturing capability was only three propellers a month, all being hand carved. We certainly have grown since then. Today we are a company of several employees and have the capability to manufacture in excess of one hundred propellers a month.

We design and manufacture propellers! Our manufacturing capabilities range from eighteen inch Military Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to thirty foot, ten-blade, NASA Wind Tunnel Propellers. However, the majority of our propellers are for high performance aircraft in the 100-300 horsepower range. PAC is considered a major manufacturer in prototype propeller design and manufacturing through out the world.

The P-TIP design The droop P-TIP is to control the air spillage over the propeller tip. It delays the tip vorticies which cause drag and turbulence within the propeller arc. A propeller, like a wing, works best when it has unturbulated air over the airfoil sections. The P-TIP delays the vorticies, the propeller then has smooth air to provide best thrust and a pronounced reduction in propeller noise.
