Fish the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake Bay on board the Charter Boat Rollin' Stone, a brand new 46' x 15.5' custom fiberglass boat built by Eldon Willing III in 2004. Full electronics, including 2 VHF radios, CB, color depth finder, GPS, radar and cell phone. Diesel powered for a safe and reliable trip to and from the fishing grounds.
Top of the line tackle. US Coast Guard certified for 35 passengers. The Rollin' Stone departs from Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield, Maryland. Our trips out of Crisfield take us south to the Chesapeake Bay below Tangier (VA). This is the largest and widest part of the Bay. The Bay is wonderful on those crisp fall days when gulls fill the air and fish begin to form large schools in search of baitfish.

Captain David Stone has been navigating the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and Tangier Sound for over twenty years. Captain Stone has been a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain for 20 years. His knowledge of the area will make each charter a learning experience. David's navigation skills will assure you of a safe and enjoyable trip.
Seasons
Report
We fish for Rockfish starting in April, we'll troll for trophy fish, then towards the end of May we'll start trolling and chumming for smaller fish. Then around the middle of May we start fishing for other species like croaker, spot, bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. Then in November we start trolling for the large Rock again until the end of December.
