Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) is a full service civil legal aid law firm that promotes equal access to justice, which is a core American value. Approximately 50-80% of low-income Americans' legal needs go unmet. CLSMF provides professional legal aid to help low-income people protect their livelihoods, their health, and their families.
We make it easier for the most vulnerable and disenfranchised Central Floridians to access legal information, gain legal assistance and representation, and to understand their rights. CLSMF attorneys and advocates can help solve legal issues related to consumer protection, debt and creditors, family law, children and education, domestic violence, elder abuse and neglect, health and income-related benefits, housing, and veterans' benefits.

Divorce & Children
Report
Family Law focuses on legal issues that affect family relationships. These laws provide a pathway for adults and children to receive fair and equal results when they create and break relationships through the court. Family Law involves a wide range of domestic relations matters such as child custody and support, paternity, divorce, alimony, name changes, and domestic violence, among others.
Fair Housing
Report
All Central Floridians deserve equal housing opportunities. We can help you determine if you are being discriminated against due to your race, national origin, color, sex or gender, disabilities, religion, and family situations. These are also known as the seven protected traits covered under Fair Housing.
Florida Court System
Report
The Florida court system is made up of three federal district courts, a state supreme court, a state court of appeals, and trial courts. Each court has general and limited jurisdiction and serves a different purpose. Jurisdiction is a word to describe both the geographical location of the court's service area AND the types of legal matters that they have judgement over.
