Dr. Greg Bailey has been practicing gynecology in the Gainesville area since 1990. In September of 2005, in response to the great number of women struggling with Pelvic Floor Disorders, he established "Women's Pelvic Health". Now, in addition to the outstanding gynecological care that the Center provides, his team helps women confronted with the symptoms caused by weakening of the Pelvic Floor.

Pelvic Floor Disorders consist of a variety of conditions including Bladder Control Problems, Vaginal Prolapse, Anal Incontinence and Pelvic Pain Disorders. An estimated 17 million US women are affected by urinary incontinence, 15% develop anal incontinence and 11% undergo surgical repair of their prolapse problems.

Dr. Greg Bailey completed his Residency at UCLA/Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles and has been practicing in Gainesville since 1990. He is Board Certified in Gynecology and a member of the American Urogynecology Society.

There are a number of factors that can lead to female incontinence or bladder control problems. These include pregnancy (single or multiple), genetics, race, hysterectomies, obesity and pelvic muscle weakness. As the number of baby boomers increase, so do the number of age-related health concerns. Bladder control (incontinence) occurs in more than 60% of post-menopausal women.
