After studying nutrition at Arizona State University and preparing to enter the pharmaceutical field, Heather was involved in a car accident that left her with pain. At the advice of her MD, a few relaxing and painless acupuncture treatments quickly resolved her pain. She then continued the treatments to manage chronic endometriosis.
Acupuncture and some nutritional changes proved to be very effective and allowed her to avoid medications. That experience taught her that pain is not something to be ignored and masked, but should be explored and treated at the source. After all, it is our body's "check engine light!" Functional Medicine would quickly become a passion when Heather struggled with secondary fertility issues.

Acupuncture for Fertility
Report
Maybe you just got off the pill, have been "seeing what happens" or you just suffered a miscarriage. Sometimes you have a surprise pregnancy with #1 and "unexplained secondary infertility" with #2. Where ever you are in your fertility journey, we will design a comprehensive program just for you! Increase blood flow to the uterus and ovaries thereby increasing both ovarian sensitivity to gonadotropins and the uterine lining for implantation.
Faq
Report
You'll be happy to know that acupuncture needles are so thin, that people often report not feeling them go in at all. A dull ache around the insertion site, a slight tingling sensation, or a feeling of warmth are the most common descriptions of the sensations experienced by most acupuncture patients.
