Founded in 1999, Aerodance has evolved from a small garage studio into a premier academy serving over 1,000 students in the Bay Area. Our mission combines Indian dance traditions with educational development, leveraging dance as a tool to enhance academic performance, emotional intelligence, and teamwork. Under the leadership of Ms. Ranjani Avijit, a Kuchipudi exponent with dual master's degrees in Child Psychology, we developed a unique Semi-Classical program that simplifies classical dance forms for modern learners while preserving cultural authenticity. Our 2,000 sq. ft. studio fosters creativity and technical skill, hosting annual showcases like Aerovaganza to celebrate student achievements.We pioneered the first international Semi-Classical dance certification program accredited by UNESCO, ensuring our graduates receive globally recognized credentials. Through structured curricula blending Instrumental, Classical, Folk, and Bollywood styles, we empower students aged K-12 to excel both artistically and academically. Our choreography emphasizes cultural appropriateness, with costumes designed for dignity and artistic expression. My daughter has been with Ms Ranjani ever since kindergarten and now shes a high school student. Ms Ranjani has taught various styles of dance like classical, Punjabi, Garba, Raas, Yakshagana, Bollywood and many more. Ms Ranjani teaches dance with a lot of passion and perfection to get the best out of the student. The annual recital show Aerovaganza says it all. Amazing! I see a lot of improvement in my daughters since they started learning with Ms. Ranjani at Aerodance. They learn a variety of styles with great choreography. Ms. Ranjani is always willing to work with the child to improve them. She puts in so much effort for the kids and the annual show. My daughters love going to Aerodance. As a parent, I would 100% recommend Aerodance for kids of any age group!

My girl has been learning dance with Aerodance and Ms. Ranjani since 8 years ago. At that time I sent her to many different dance programs such as ballet, zumba, salsa, hip hop, but she only stayed with Aerodance. My daughter has been going through Aerodance from past 7 years..Ms Ranjani is amazing choregrapher..It is not all about teaching and focusing on dance but also develop kids attitude to acknowledge and accept all kind of challenges and develop competitive spirit. My daughter made amazing friends and all her batch mates are continuing from past 7 years.
