Rhonda Brown founded Custom Animal Services pet care team in 2002. Rhonda worked for both La Plata Animal Clinic and Riverview Animal Hospital for a combined total of nine years. Rhonda received her Bachelors of Science in Animal Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1994. Immediately after graduation, Rhonda relocated to Durango where she has resided since.

Pets are kept in a familiar environment, with normal diet and exercise routines, along with personal attention. This service eliminates exposure to illnesses of other animals in a group type situation away from home. The professional pet sitter has responsibility for both your pet and your home, and we take this responsibility very seriously.

Includes fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, petting, affection and interaction, waste removal and light grooming. Also includes house services (see below). Our Canine Adventure Camp is geared toward friendly, well socialized, active dogs looking for fun during the day. We come to you and either head out from your home or transport your dog(s) to a nearby hiking trail, the dog park, a walk on the river trail, etc.

A standard visit is up to one half hour. During this time, we follow your instructions exactly on how to feed, water, exercise and care for your pets and your house. Frequently, our daily dog walks run over half an hour. Our overnight stays are twelve hours, for example 7pm to 7am. We have vast experience giving all types of medications, oral, topical and by injection to all types of animals.
